The Philosophy of Food

Often times, the best memories are centered around a nice, hearty meal surrounded by good people and great conversation. Today I was able to volunteer at my workplace for a pretty big event which I think was a success. The ladies I worked with also helped and our task was to prepare the food for the students who helped. I never realized how much fun I was having despite being exhausted by the end of the day. Our team work was amazing and we were able to finish everything against all odds (like running out of food). It was so great listening to wise and experienced women, to see that no matter what, they are still giving back at the school. Walking around, I saw the hard work of all the people at my work place and I am very proud to be an alumnus from the school. I am so lucky to still be a part of this wonderful community. 

Anyway, I just got a little bit sentimental. It does feel as if every good memories are centered around good food and good people!
