WHO AM I ?
The "first times" are always the best feelings in the world, and I spend my time going after those moments to live and relive experiences that bring sparks to my soul. I am an artist and life is my canvas--my thoughts are occupied with new ideas every so often that it is difficult to finish what I have started sometimes. An expert in overcoming my deepest fears, life allows me to live as limitless and infinitely as I can.
I enjoy the arts, whether it be music, text, painting, people, and everything that rolls along the path of life. Always knowing that I want to do something in a career that involved the arts, I chose to major in Architecture. Right now I am studying at Leeward CC to finish the pre-requisites for the School of Architecture in UH Manoa. I hope that I am able to learn as much as I can manage in this lifetime, and be able to share the world what I've got.
I've been taking French for two semesters at Leeward CC, I really want to delve deeper in the language and culture which is why I am participating in this year's Summer Study Abroad in France. I figured that I am in the primetime of really learning something and what makes it better than to go all the way and experience France first-hand?
Learning French is not a piece of cake, it takes a tedious amount of studying and understanding the grammatical rules in reading, writing, and communicating. Being fluent in another language, Tagalog, really helped me with pronunciating words that sounded differently from American English words. It's going to be such an experience to be among French speakers and learn the language, culture of such an enchanted place.
